Hi! ​

 

I recently embarked on a Yoga teaching qualification with HFE, this is something I have wanted to do for a long time. 2018 and I decided to finally take the plunge.

 

Coming from a dance background and currently working in an office environment, I wanted to find ways to keep moving and motivated throughout the days I am working. This led me to lead short workshops on desk yoga and breathing exercises at my workplace. January 2018, I met someone from a different department who wanted to improve the mental well being of her colleagues. We got talking and are currently trying to set up a wellbeing ambassador scheme, hoping to run wellbeing days, yoga and meditation classes and massage sessions to help our colleagues.

 

As I mentioned before, I come from a dance background, I have also recently started running and Krav Maga. This had led to me having a keen interest in yin and restorative yoga. There is no better feeling than stretching out aching muscles after a run or tough work out.

 

Anyway, I am starting this blog so you can follow me on my journey to becoming a yoga teacher and beyond.
